Peter Kim's post this morning really hit home. In it, he asks if -- as most communities do when its residents need them -- we're prepared to help those of us who may get laid off, RIFFed, etc.
Peter's "live case" is Warren Sukernek -- whom I first met at a WOMMA event in Las Vegas in November 2007. We were both live Tweeting the keynote. (He's @warrenss on Twitter btw.) Fast forward to last week, and Warren finds himself out of a job. He contacted me about it, and I've already advanced his name both internally (we have a spot open in SFO) and externally.
If you find yourself in similar shoes, please feel free to get in touch; email's generally the best way (rick.murray@edelman.com). If we don't have anything open at that time, it's also quite possible that one of our 1300+ clients does (and several do at this moment). Bottom line: I'm more than happy to accept Peter's challenge and go to work for you.

Thx Warren. You're doing it right. Keep at it and things will work out... sooner rather than later. RWM

Rick,
I am really happy to bring this to closure. I have joined Radian6 as Director of Content Marketing. You can read more about it at http://cli.gs/wsradian. I am so grateful for the help and support that you provided. Having a strong network that you can depend on is critical today.
Thanks again,
Warren
