I'm not sure of the exact date, but approximately 10 years ago, a website popped up that demonstrated the power of the masses at it's best: www.emotioneric.com
"Eric Conveys An Emotion" allowed people to email their wish - for Eric to convey a particular emotion, and Eric would oblige.
This early forerunner of today's popular user generated content sites and ideagoras (def: a market/forum of ideas) was, quite frankly, absurd, hilarious and pioneering.
Eric, we salute you. What other sites were similar to Eric's?

While Eric was doing this, his day job was at Everdream, at the time one of the clients of the agency I was working for. And yes, we would all throw emotions at him to do during meetings.
