The Observer and the Telegraph reported on Sunday that the UK's most famous court, the Old Bailey, has put online 250 years worth of trial transcripts dating to 1674.

Aside from being a boon to historians and crime buffs, the move confirms that it won't be long until the world's data is all online, indexable, and searchable.
