Although still too new among most local Chinese netizens to be considered a mainstream digital communications tool, Twitter / Fanfou / Jiwai (140-character-restricted micro-blogging platforms) are becoming increasingly popular in China.

Most local Chinese users of these services are of the "Internet-addicted, serial communicator, or bona-fide technology / 2.0 geek" crowd –– perfect if you ask me, as this is where one often finds the most interesting, informed, cutting-edge conversations about...well... anything...but especially digital developments.

As most readers of this blog likely favor English to Chinese, the ChinaList is a growing collection of (mostly) English-tweeting China Twitterati maintained by my colleague Christine Lu, founder of The China Business Network......subscribe to listen in on "digitally-minded" conversations about the China market (and of course other worthwhile banter).
