Our USP / point-of-difference at Edelman Digital can be summed up in two words: Authentic Communications. Frankly, getting to those two words was the easy part; delivering on that promise is anything but. That said, it is what we will strive to acheive for every client, every day.

To help guide us along the way, we've crafted a set of principles, which I humbly submit to the community for comment and improvement.

At Edelman Digital, we strive to create Authentic Communications that are:

True… to each client’s personality, spirit and values.

Transparent… from every conceivable angle, 100% of the time.

Straightforward… free of unnecessary hyperbole.

Fluid… because conversations happen, and relationships evolve over time

Respectful… of individuals, institutions and the venues in which we operate

Inspiring… to us, to our clients and their stakeholders

Personal… perceived as relevant to and customize-able by individual stakeholders

Sociable… designed for easy sharing by and amongst the community

Trustworthy… credible to advocates and detractors alike

Win-Win… creating measurable value for all parties

I know that this list is neither complete nor perfect, but it is a very important stake in the ground for us. Rest assured, these principles will shape everything we do.

Please let me know what you think.

Awesome. T.T.S.F.R.I.P.S.T.W

I hope to be a part of it and help out. This blog looks cool. I'm going to have to check it out more often

Bravo.

These principles will soon be applied across the marketing mix.
Open dialog is much easier to facilitate in this new emerging medium but is now a mandatory driver of all consumer touch points.

The need is as new as 2.0 and as old as the rural community general store.

Rick...really like what you are doing here! I also think grounding your work around the principle of "authenticity" is spot-on! I hope others are listening. - Pete
