In 140 characters, what does your job entail? More brands are putting greater effort into building relationships with consumers across all touch points, and social media is definitely one of the most essential ways to do so. Forming these relationships on social media is a large part of my job.
What might you find yourself doing around 10 a.m. on a regular work day? Drinking tea and beginning my daily online monitoring – as long as I don’t get stuck in the elevator!
What are your top two sources of news and how often do you check them? I check the Edelman Digital website every two days on average.
Which social platform do you use most often? Weibo (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter) – I can’t survive without checking it every day… (sounds terrible, right?)
How do you think the PR trends in your region differ from other regions? In China, creating interesting campaigns and connecting online conversations with offline conversations gets people engaged.
What do you like best about your job? Sharing ideas with my colleagues and making them come to life as a team.
What’s one thing you wish you knew as a recent college graduate? I wish I knew about Me & Joe – one of the best pizza restaurants in Shanghai!
What’s your favorite part about the Edelman culture? In Shanghai, you can find snacks from all over the world at almost every corner of the office!
